Just drop them off at our store, Eyelevel Opticians, 37 Upper Street, Islington, London and we’ll take care of the rest.!
The Recycling Process:
- Collect & Sort: All the contact lenses and packaging dropped off at our Islington location are aggregated and sent off to the specialist recycling processor
- Shred & Wash: Once there, everything is shredded and thoroughly cleaned.
- Transform: The clean materials are turned into hard-granulated plastic granules.
- Extrude: These granules are extruded and used to create new plastic products like benches!
